Call for projects 2019

Since its creation in 1999, the Cotrel Foundation has focused on its core research theme: The Etiology of Idiopathic Scoliosis. The Foundation has supported many projects with different approach from all over the world.

Research projects that aim at detecting progressive forms or understanding the mechanisms responsible for these deformations as early as possible, may allow treatments to be most effective.

The challenge of identifying the causes and mechanisms in the evolution of idiopathic scoliosis is ambitious, but we still need to conduct further investigation.

The Foundation is interested in funding projects from different perspectives such as Biomechanics, Neurology or Neurosensory, Genetics or Metabolic Studies, etc.

Please submit completed applications to

Nicolas Plais (nicolas.plais@www.fondationcotrel.org) and/or

Nora Muller-Conte (mullerconte@www.fondationcotrel.org).

Deadline is April 5th, 2019.

Upon successful completion and timely submission of the grant application, a panel of clinician-scientists will review all requests; exceptional research projects will then be awarded sponsorship.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have; we will happy to answer them.
